Robert Potter

EVP, Strategic Operations Group at Mandiant

Robert Potter is Executive Vice President of the Strategic Operations Group at Mandiant. In this role, Rob leads the team responsible for establishing, nurturing, and delivering on high-value initiatives across vertically-aligned accounts, strategic alliances with system integrators/managed service providers, and strategic alliances with product/technology companies. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Chief Revenue Officer at Verodin, which was acquired by FireEye in 2019. He was responsible for developing and delivering the global sales and marketing strategy, services, customer success and solutions that support Verodin's customer needs. With over 28 years of industry experience, he has a solid track record of partnering with private and public enterprise organizations to improve their security and information management requirements including holding senior executive leadership positions at Symantec, EMC (RSA), IBM, Attachment (WRQ), Lancope (Acquired by CISCO), as well as multiple start-ups including co-founding STS Technologies.

In addition to his professional career, Robert proudly serves on the Board of Trustees for his alma mater Quinnipiac University where he and his wife Kathryn founded the Robert ’91 and Kathryn Potter Endowed Scholarship Fund at Quinnipiac University to further the participation of women in STEM degrees. Robert currently serves as an advisor for BroadBranch Advisors, KCP Media and PICNIC Technologies, he also previously served on the board of Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on helping our homeless veterans. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree, in Computer Science from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.
