Joe Wang

Joe Wang is an Executive Director at Manhattan West, where he provides tailored wealth management solutions to select groups of high-net-worth private clients and athletes in the sports industry. Mr. Wang takes pride in educating his clients so they can make informed financial decisions pertaining to wealth creation and capital preservation.

Prior to joining Manhattan West, Mr. Wang started his career in corporate America. He later joined the management consulting firms of Ernst & Young and The Hackett Group. He quickly rose through the ranks and went on to serve as a top Enterprise Sales Executive for the Microsoft Corporation for nearly 10 years. In addition to his corporate experience, Mr. Wang founded South Bay Youth Sports (Go Loong), an elite 7v7 youth football league and athletic training program, which has trained over 8,000 athletes in California and China. Known as the Ambassador of American Football in China, Mr. Wang was the Head Coach for Team China competing at the World University Football Championships and co-founded the American Football Union (AFU) Chinese college football league. Mr. Wang is a former NFL Combine coach and USC Football camp coach.

Mr. Wang is the grandson of China’s 1936 Olympic soccer team captain. He was also cast as a contestant on CBS’s The Amazing Race, a 17-time Emmy Award winning reality competition television show. He currently resides in El Segundo, CA with his wife and teen daughter. His son is a quarterback at the United States Air Force Academy. In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travel, golf, poker and cheering on his children at their sporting events.
