Sharon Mohammed

Sharon Mohammed has over two decades of experience in the food industry, currently serving as Director of Government and Industry Relations, Regulatory Management, and Director of Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance at Maple Leaf Foods Inc since September 2006. Previously, Sharon held the position of Manager of Food Safety at the same company and worked at Yum! Restaurants International as Manager of Product Excellence - National from September 2003 to August 2006. Earlier experience includes serving as Manager of Quality Assurance at Canada Safeway from June 2000 to September 2003. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Food Sciences from the University of Manitoba and has furthered education through programs at The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School in 2017 and 2018.
