Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar has a strong background in GIS engineering and quality assurance. Amit began their career in 2005 at RMSI Pvt. Ltd., where they worked as a GIS Engineer, responsible for QA/QC and sample creation. Amit then joined MapmyIndia in 2012 as a GIS Engineer, where they were responsible for updating map data for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand states. Amit continued their GIS career at RMSI Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior GIS Engineer, focusing on quality assurance and working closely with map build and maintenance teams. In 2015, Amit joined Bechtel India Pvt Ltd. as a Designer (FTTH), where they were involved in the production and quality check of FTTH planning permits drawing and SLD. Amit later moved to RAMTeCH Software Solutions Pvt Ltd in 2017 as a Process Quality Analyst, before joining MapmyIndia again in the same year as a Senior GIS Engineer.

Amit Kumar attended R.K.College in Madhubani from 1997 to 2000 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1997, they studied at R.K.College in Madhubani and completed their Higher Secondary education, with a focus on Biology. Before that, from 1994 to 1995, Amit studied at Watson High School in Madhubani and completed their Matriculation education. Additionally, Amit pursued further education at Indira Gandhi National Open University, where they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science (PGDCA). Lastly, Amit enrolled in The Global Open University Nagaland in Dimapur, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Remote Sensing and GIS.
