Sierra Johnson is an account executive at Marketwave, supporting core clients with their public relations, communications and social project and campaigns. She uses her real-world experience, complemented by her in-depth knowledge of the state of the communications industry to bring fresh and creative solutions to the table when executing on client needs.
She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with a concentration in Public Relations. Before joining the Marketwave team, Sierra practiced public relations, media relations, research, brand strategy and communications for a global public relations agency. She also has career experience in the mortgage industry, where she owned marketing efforts for several channels of business within the company and facilitated regular social media trainings to help employees enhance their online presence, ultimately increasing sales at the bottom line.
Sierra is a proud Houston girl born and raised – and considers Miami her second home.
