Hisaharu Oshima

Hisaharu Oshima serves as the General Manager at Marubeni Corporation, leading the water BOOT business since April 2023. Previously, Oshima was the Managing Director at Marubeni Water Development and Investment Ltd, focusing on the development and investment of global water projects, including various models of partnerships. Oshima's earlier experience at Marubeni Corporation as Regional Director involved business development for water and wastewater projects across the Middle East and Africa, including the successful financial closing of significant projects such as Shuqaiq 3 IWP in Saudi Arabia. Oshima's earlier roles contributed to financial modeling and tax accounting for power and water projects in various regions. Oshima earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagoya University between 2006 and 2008.
