Taylor Elyse Quint

Taylor Elyse Quint is an experienced expressive arts therapist currently working at Mary Washington Healthcare, specializing in hospice grief and palliative care since 2016. As a self-published children's book author and illustrator, Taylor has created the therapeutic book "Popcorn's Story" since March 2012. Prior experience includes roles as an outpatient art therapist at Daniel Memorial, Inc, facilitating therapy for children and families in crisis, and as an art therapist and senior applied behavioral analysis therapist at the Empower School for Children with Autism and Special Needs. Taylor also provided outpatient therapy and developed individualized treatment plans at Daniel Memorial, Inc from 2011 to 2013. An earlier role as a graduate assistant at Florida State University involved supporting the art therapy program and contributing to its inaugural journal. Taylor holds a Master of Science in Art Therapy from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science in Art Teacher Education from Louisiana State University.
