Thilini Karunaratne

Thilini Karunaratne is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and asset management. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager of Treasury at MAS Holdings since May 2019, Thilini previously held key positions at CAL, including Vice President of Asset Management, where contributions were pivotal in establishing the company as a leader in Sri Lanka's asset management sector, managing over Rs. 40 billion in assets. Earlier career experience includes roles at Amba Research as an Equity Analyst, specializing in financial modeling for diverse sectors such as Banking and Retail. Thilini holds an MBA from the University of Colombo, is an Attorney-at-Law from Sri Lanka Law College, and has a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Colombo, alongside qualifications from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
