Program Administrator at Massachusetts Clean Energy Center

Jess Hiltz is a Program Administrator at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. Jess has also worked as an RI C-AIM Fellow, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Cashier, and Intern.

Jess Hiltz began their career as an intern with Commonwealth Financial Network in May 2016. Jess worked with the Document Services team and gained valuable experience in the financial industry. In May 2017, Jess interned with Commonwealth Financial Network again and continued to develop their skills in the financial industry.

In May 2018, Jess began working as a cashier for George Howell Coffee Company. Jess provided excellent customer service and was a key member of the team. In September 2018, Jess started working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the University of Rhode Island. Jess was funded by the RI C-AIM SURF Program and taught within the Department of Marine Affairs.

In May 2019, Jess began working as an RI C-AIM Fellow for Rhode Island Coastal Assessment, Innovation and Modeling. This was a National Science Foundation funded internship that Jess excelled in. Jess gained valuable experience in coastal assessment, innovation, and modeling. In July 2019, Jess transitioned to their current role as Program Administrator at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.

Jess Hiltz attained a Master of Arts in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Affairs, both from the University of Rhode Island. Jess is certified in Responsible Conduct of Research CITI from the University of Rhode Island and Standard First Aid, CPR and AED from the National CPR Association.

Jess Hiltz reports to Galen Nelson, Chief Program Officer. Some of their coworkers include Quiana Lee-Gaines - Program Manager, Rees Sweeney-Taylor - Program Manager, and Peter McPhee - Senior Program Director.
