Sebastian Steppat

Sebastian Steppat is an experienced consulting professional currently serving as an Associate Managing Consultant at Mastercard since September 2025. Previously, Sebastian held the position of Senior Consultant at Oliver Wyman from January 2023 to September 2025 and worked as a Management Consultant at Allianz from October 2020 to December 2022. Initially, Sebastian co-founded Forkways Consulting UG, where engagement spanned from July 2018 to September 2020, and also gained experience as a Working Student in project management at etventure and in business development and strategy consulting at EY. Early career roles include working student positions at Union Investment and an internship in IT project management at Messe Frankfurt GmbH, as well as an internship in investment products and insurances at Deutsche Bank. Sebastian holds a Master of Science in International Business, Strategy & Innovation from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Business Administration, focusing on Finance & Accounting, from Goethe University Frankfurt.
