Neil Parsons-Young

Neil Parsons-Young is an experienced mining professional currently serving as a Project Coordinator at Xcoal Mining Services since May 2023. With a strong background in management, Neil has held various roles at Mastermyne Group since September 2021, including Undermanager and Production Manager at Cook Colliery. Previous experience includes serving as an Undermanager at Glencore and a Compliance Officer at Anglo American, where responsibilities encompassed acting as a shift Mining Senior Official at the Grasstree Mine. Neil's earlier career includes positions with Palaris as Operations Support Specialist, Mentor Mining Pty Ltd as Project Manager for the introduction of long wall top coal caving technology, and BHP Billiton as Operational Readiness Lead, contributing significantly to the Wards Well project feasibility study. Neil holds an Associate Diploma in Engineering (Coal) from Ipswich School of Mining.
