Ryan Hernandez

Ryan Hernandez, P.E. is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Gas Operations Manager at Matador Resources Company since September 2018. In this role, Ryan has been responsible for overseeing facilities in Lea County and north Eddy County, New Mexico, focusing on the engineering and design of comprehensive horizontal well facilities, pipelines, and advanced surface equipment since 2020. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Staff Facilities Engineer and Production Engineer II at Matador, as well as positions at FTS International, Wellflex Energy Solutions, and Atlas Energy. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Certificate in Finance, both from Texas A&M University, and is a graduate of Nolan Catholic High School.
