Ryoma Yamamoto

Ryoma Yamamoto is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leading innovative companies across various sectors. Currently serving as the CEO and Representative Director of Eureka/Pairs at Match Group since March 2023, Ryoma oversees one of Japan's leading dating apps, which is responsible for 10% of the nation's marriages. Previously, Ryoma was the Country GM for DoorDash Japan, where Ryoma launched operations in Sendai and facilitated rapid market expansion. As CEO of OYO Japan, a joint venture with SoftBank Vision Fund, Ryoma managed both OYO Hotels and OYO Life. Ryoma also played a critical role in the launch of Apple Pay in Japan while serving as Head of Business at Apple. Earlier career experience includes positions at McKinsey & Company, where Ryoma advanced to Associate Partner leading Finance/Tech in Japan. Ryoma holds a Master's degree in Digital Communication and a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Physics, both from Kyoto University.
