Ward Verwaeren

Ward Verwaeren is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various aspects of business law and intellectual property. Currently serving as a Managing Associate at Cresco since June 2023, Ward has also held significant roles at Match Group, providing external legal counsel and serving as Senior Legal Counsel since December 2020. Previous experience includes positions as a Legal Advisor at VRT from September 2018 to December 2020, and as a Lawyer Associate at Van Innis & Delarue specializing in intellectual property from May 2015 to August 2018. Ward began professional endeavors as a co-founder of Bearmark, focusing on e-commerce and online marketing projects, while also contributing to academia as a Senior Staff Member at Hogeschool Gent, coordinating projects related to student entrepreneurship.
