William Nielsen

William Nielsen possesses extensive experience in the metal industry, currently serving as Vice President and General Manager at Materion Corporation since 1998, where previous roles included Director of Marketing and Marketing Director. Nielsen held the position of Division President at Ampco Metal from 1982 to 1998, and served as a Process Engineer at both Republic Steel (1975-1982) and United States Steel Corporation (1971-1975). Nielsen completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at Case Western Reserve University, graduating in 1975.
