Doug Snell

Doug Snell, PhD, ME, LSSBB, serves as the Assembly Engineering and Operations Manager and NPI Manager at Matthews International since October 2023, focusing on operations management and supplier relations. Prior to this role, Doug was a Quality Systems Engineer at BCforward, providing leadership in MEMS Quality Management Systems for HP’s Print Division. Doug's career also includes a position at MBO Professional, developing training plans for early career engineers. At HP, spanning nearly 17 years, Doug held various leadership positions, notably as Technical Lead for 3D Color Printers and High-Mix Low Volume Manufacturing Manager, where contributions included enhancing product reliability and managing manufacturing operations. Doug holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University, an MS from Stanford University, and a BS from California State University, Chico.
