Steve Gackenbach

Steve Gackenbach is an experienced executive currently serving as Group President and Chief Commercial Officer of the Memorialization Group at Matthews International since January 2011. In addition, Steve holds a position on the Board of Directors for Nomacorc LLC, a leading global producer of synthetic wine corks. Prior experience includes various roles in marketing, general management, and strategy at Kraft Foods from 1992 to 2010, where Steve contributed to iconic brands like Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Steve also co-founded Dairy.com, an independent internet company developed with support from Kraft, and worked as a consultant at Monitor Group and Booz & Company in the late 1980s. Steve earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Economics from The Wharton School.
