Roger Phipps

Roger Phipps is an experienced professional with a diverse background in retail IT management, photography, and entertainment. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Retail IT Programs at Mattress Firm since June 2023, Roger has also been a Campus Photographer for HOPE CITY and operates Roger Phipps Photography. Previous roles include Senior Workforce Management and Store Reporting Manager at Academy Sports + Outdoors, Solution Architect at Blue Yonder, and multiple management positions at Belk, where responsibilities ranged from Store Technology Program Manager to Sr. Financial Analyst. Additional experience includes serving as Click Effects Back-up for the Carolina Panthers, MC/DJ with Split Second Sound, and owner of Phipps Entertainment. Roger holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies-Business from Wingate University and has further education from North Carolina State University.
