Yuan W. is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leadership, coaching, and education. Currently serving as the Head of Design at Maven since January 2022, Yuan shapes the future of online education. Concurrently, Yuan is a Lecturer at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Founder & Coach at Yuan Studio, specializing in 1:1 and group coaching for design leads and managers. Previous roles include leadership positions at Airbnb and Twitter, where Yuan led strategic design initiatives and mentorship programs, as well as teaching roles at California College of the Arts and On Deck. Yuan’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and professional coaching training from iPEC Coaching.
