Katherine Neil

Katherine Neil is an accomplished Associate Tax Lawyer currently at McCarthy Tétrault since October 2025 and previously held the same position at Thorsteinssons Tax Lawyers from October 2023 to September 2025. Prior to this, Katherine completed an Articled Student position at Lawson Lundell LLP from September 2022 to August 2023 and served as a Summer Articled Student at the same firm in 2021. Professional experience also includes working as a Research Assistant at Pro Bono Dalhousie from October 2020 to April 2021. Katherine is currently pursuing the In-Depth Tax Program with Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and holds a Doctor of Law degree from Dalhousie University, a Diploma of Art History from The University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
