Kevin S. McClatchy

Kevin S. McClatchy has been a director of McClatchy since September 1998 and non-executive chairman of the board since May 2012.

From 1996 to 2007, he was the managing general partner and chief executive officer of the Pittsburgh Pirates Major League Baseball team. From 1994 to 1995, he was president of the Northern California Sports Development Group and The Modesto A's, a minor league baseball team.

He held various positions with McClatchy from 1990 to 1994, including serving as sales director for The Newspaper Network, Inc., advertising director at the Amador Ledger Dispatch and sales representative for The Sacramento Bee.
