Anju Rao

Anju Rao currently serves as the Chief Science Officer at McCormick & Company, starting in June 2024. Prior to this role, Anju held several positions at Starbucks from December 2015 to June 2024, culminating as Senior Vice President, where responsibilities included developing and scaling global quality and safety practices while leveraging scientific strategies for wellness. Anju also contributed to new product innovation and margin enhancement in the food and beverage portfolio. Earlier experience includes a Director role at Campbell Soup Company from August 2013 to December 2015, focusing on product development, program management, and operational strategies. Anju holds a degree from Clemson University, obtained between 1996 and 2001.
