Dr Jens Ortmanns

Dr. Jens Ortmanns is a Partner and the Global Head of Real Estate at McDermott Will & Emery, where responsibilities include advising on domestic and cross-border commercial real estate transactions, financings, leasing, project development, joint venture investments, and fund formation since January 2009. Additionally, Dr. Ortmanns serves on the Praxisbeirat of the FS Real Estate Institute at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management starting November 2023. Educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Manhattan University, a License in European commercial and competition law from the University of Orleans, and a degree from Universität Trier, along with a high school diploma from Bischoefliches Pius Gymnasium Aachen.
