Ron Hauben

Ron Hauben is a legal professional with extensive experience in the accounting and advisory sectors. Currently serving as a Partner and Co-Chair of the Accountant Defense and Advisory Practice at McDermott Will & Emery since August 2023, Hauben previously held the position of Senior Counsel at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where Ron co-chaired the Accounting Firm Advisory and Defense group from January 2022 to August 2023. Prior to these roles, Hauben worked at Ernst & Young LLP as Vice Chair and General Counsel from April 2014 to December 2021, and as Deputy General Counsel from August 2003 to April 2014. Earlier in his career, Hauben was a Partner at PwC from January 1989 to September 2002. Hauben earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from New York University and holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics from Binghamton University.
