Hudson McFann, PhD, is an accomplished researcher currently working at McGee Media as a Researcher for the PBS series "Finding Your Roots," where responsibilities include conducting research and fact-checking scripts. Previously, Hudson served as Lead Researcher and Project Manager at Rutgers University, overseeing a multi-phase qualitative study on humanitarian aid across six countries. Experience also includes roles such as Store Manager at Gramercy Typewriter Co. and Fellowship Advisor at Rutgers' School of Graduate Studies, where mentoring on research communication took place. Hudson has contributed to various research initiatives, including qualitative studies for the Center for Khmer Studies and collaborative projects with the Documentation Center of Cambodia.
