X. Shelley Cao, M.D., is a driven leader and dynamic problem solver, currently serving as the Global Convener and Director of Strategy and Operations at McKinsey & Company. They have extensive experience in clinical medicine, surgery, and management consulting, with a focus on life sciences business strategy and operations. Previously, they completed a surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine and worked at NYC Health + Hospitals as Assistant Vice President, where they managed significant healthcare initiatives. X. Shelley also holds a degree from Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, which they completed in 2010.
