Allyson Brady

Research Scientist/project Manager

Allyson Brady currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Carleton University since July 2022 and has been a Research Scientist/Project Manager at McMaster University since September 2013, where work focuses on tracing microbial carbon cycling and managing various research projects. Previous roles include being a Science Participant and Science Lead for the Pavilion Lake Research Project from 2006 to 2015, where Allyson coordinated multi-disciplinary research efforts and led education and outreach activities. Prior experience also includes serving as an NSERC Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Calgary from 2010 to June 2013, with expertise in microbial community identification and geochemical data collection in geothermal systems. Allyson holds a PhD in Geochemistry from McMaster University, an MA in Bioarchaeology from Western University, and a BS in Microbiology from the University of Guelph.
