Andrew McLarty TFIEAust MIEEE IRAP CISSP has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Andrew began their career in 1992 as a Communications Engineer in the Australian Army and Department of Defence. Andrew then worked as a Senior Security Consultant at CSC Australia from 1998 to 2007. At CSC, they also held various roles such as IT Security Manager and Security Architect for different projects. In 2013, they joined Fujitsu Australia Limited as a Principal Consultant, specializing in Business Risk Consulting and IRAP Assessments. Andrew later joined DXC Technology in 2017, where they served as the Security Architect for Future Land Networks and later as the Security Advisory Practice Lead. Most recently, in 2022, they joined McR Defence as the Associate Director of Intelligence & Security. Andrew has also held leadership positions, including the role of President of the Canberra Division at Engineers Australia in 2014. Overall, they bring a wealth of expertise in security, risk assessment, and communication engineering to their current role.

Andrew also holds a Graduate Certificate in Telecommunications Systems Management from the Department of Defence from 1992 to 1995. Andrew obtained a Diploma of Engineering in Telecommunication Systems from the Department of Defence from 1986 to 1991. Additionally, they have an Associate Diploma of Engineering in Electronics from RMIT University in 1988. Andrew started their education at the Army Apprentices School (Balcombe) from 1978 to 1981 where they obtained the qualifications of Radio Tradesman and Radio Technician in the field of Radio and Electronics Technician. Moreover, Andrew McLarty TFIEAust MIEEE IRAP CISSP has earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in November 2014.
