Sarmistha Das

Sarmistha Das is an experienced Assistant Project Engineer at MECON Limited, India, since May 2022, where responsibilities include the installation of the 4th Stove in Blast Furnace No. 4 at Durgapur Steel Plant. Previous experience includes a summer internship at the Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute, focusing on the synthetic and characterization of nano-structure calcium silicate and magnesium silicate, as well as an industrial trainee position at Aditya Birla Insulators Ltd., the largest manufacturer of high-performance insulators in India. Sarmistha Das holds a Master of Technology in Material Science and Technology from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, a Bachelor of Technology in Ceramic Technology from Government College Of Engineering and Ceramic Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Pure Science from Calcutta University.
