Valeria Zimarino

Valeria Zimarino is an experienced professional in capacity building and philanthropy, currently serving as the International Capacity Building Senior Officer at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) since November 2023. Previously, Valeria held the position of Philanthropy and Major Gifts Manager at Medici Senza Frontiere from October 2018 to November 2023, managing major gift prospects and donor relations. Valeria's expertise also includes serving as Major Donor Manager at Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Southern Africa and working in corporate fundraising at Save the Children Italia. Valeria has contributed as a consultant for the European Social Survey and as a tutor at LUISS Business School, underscoring a strong background in international relations with a Master’s degree from Luiss Guido Carli University and a Bachelor’s degree from Università degli studi Roma TRE.
