David Gay

David Gay, CPA, is managing partner at national accounting firm EY (formerly known as Ernst & Young) – a position he has held since 2014. A native of Menomonee Falls, he received a BBA in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW) in 1996. He began his career at EY shortly thereafter, serving in increasing roles of responsibility until 2008 when he made partner. From 2008-2014 he was assurance partner. Gay manages more than 200 employees at the EY Milwaukee office.

Gay serves on the boards of the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC), and several UW boards and advisory councils. Gay also is board chair of College Possible, a national nonprofit organization which makes college admission and success possible for low-income students through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support.
