Nóra Sándor has a range of work experience in various scientific and educational roles. Nóra is currently employed as a Junior Data Scientist at Meero, starting in July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a post-doc researcher at the Quantum Physics Lab (ISIS and IPCM) from January 2015 to May 2020, where they conducted independent theoretical research in the field of quantum optics and participated in scientific discussions. In 2014, they were a Teach@Tübingen fellow at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, where they conducted research on optical detection of Rydberg states and gave lectures on programming in Mathematica. From 2008 to 2014, Nóra worked as an Assistant Research Fellow at the Wigner Research Center for Physics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, focusing on developing interaction schemes for preparing ground-state atoms using laser pulses. Lastly, from 2012 to 2013, they served as a Guest Lecturer at the Department of Mathematical Analysis, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they developed curriculum and led practical courses on programming in Mathematica for neuroscience students.
Nóra Sándor began their education at Pápai Református Kollégium Gimnáziuma, where they completed their secondary education from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they attended Saint Ignatus Jesuit College in Budapest for one year from 2003 to 2004. Subsequently, they enrolled at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Physics from 2003 to 2008. Finally, Nóra Sándor attended the University of Pécs from 2008 to 2013, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Quantum Optics and Quantum Informatics.
