Neeraj Patel

Neeraj Patel, P.Eng, currently serves as a Senior Exploitation Engineer at MEG Energy Corp. since June 2023. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Reservoir Engineer & Analytics for Thermal Assets and Reservoir Engineer at Strathcona Resources Ltd. from August 2022 to June 2023. Neeraj's earlier roles encompass Reservoir and Exploitation Engineer at Serafina Energy Ltd. (2017-2022), SAGD Production Engineer and Development Engineer at Athabasca Oil Corporation (2012-2017), and Reservoir Engineer EIT, along with a Reservoir Engineering Student Co-op position at Athabasca Oil Sands Corp. (2010-2012). Initial experience also includes a Production Engineering Student Co-op role at Enerplus in 2008. Neeraj holds a Master of Science in Data Analytics from University College Dublin (2017-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Process Control from the University of Alberta (2005-2010).
