Laila Miah

Laila Miah is a QC Compliance Specialist at MeiraGTx since September 2021, focusing on ensuring GMP-compliant activities within quality control to support the manufacturing of gene therapy products and overseeing the review and approval of QC documentation for batch release. Prior to this role, Laila served as a QC Scientific Officer at Cancer Research UK from February 2015 to September 2021, where product analysis was performed using techniques such as HPLC, SDS PAGE, and ELISA under GMP standards. Laila's earlier experience includes a position as a Development Scientist with Lonza from October 2006 to February 2015, where responsibilities encompassed the optimization and execution of various assays and report writing for external clients. Laila holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Westminster, obtained between 2003 and 2006.
