Erik Eduardo Banda Gonzalez

Erik Eduardo Banda Gonzalez has extensive work experience in engineering and design roles. Erik Eduardo is currently working as an Engineering Coordinator at MEKRA Lang North America, LLC, where they lead and manages various OEM and OES projects, including document management, material management, and bill of materials management. Erik Eduardo is also responsible for engineering change management and IATF audits. Prior to this, Erik worked as a Sr. Product Design Engineer at the same company, where they served as the primary contact for design centers and led multiple programs for new product introductions.

Before joining MEKRA Lang North America, LLC, Erik worked as a CAD Design Engineer at Hutchinson, where they created product designs and initial drawings for body sealing projects. Erik Eduardo also managed engineering changes and served as the liaison engineer between the Mexico and USA design development process.

Prior to Hutchinson, Erik worked at Donaldson as a Design Engineer, where they led the design and manufacturing of sheet-metal parts. Erik Eduardo collaborated with customers to define project requirements and implemented customization to dust collection systems.

Erik's earlier work experience includes roles at Siemens Industry as a Designer Drafter, where they utilized NX CAD design for assembly fixtures and managed tooling and conveyor improvements. Erik Eduardo also worked at Criotec, S.A. de C.V. as a Designer, where they contributed to the manufacture of commercial refrigerators by creating subassembly drawings and developing new parts. Additionally, Erik worked at METALIA as a Product Engineer, where they utilized Solidworks CAD design for sheetmetal products and developed new product designs.

Erik Eduardo Banda Gonzalez has a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Universidad Regiomontana S.C., which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Industrial Design at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León from 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their academic background, Erik has also obtained several certifications and completed various training programs.
