Emily Hong

Emily Hong is a dedicated healthcare professional currently serving as a Registered Nurse at Decatur Memorial Hospital since May 2022, with previous experience as a Patient Care Technician and Student Nurse Intern at the same institution. In addition to nursing, Emily has worked as a Teaching Assistant at Peter Pan Daycare, focusing on maintaining organization and safety for children aged infant to 11 years. Emily's diverse background includes roles such as a Food Server at Olive Garden, a SHIELD COVID-19 Tester at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and various positions in entomological research, contributing to mosquito studies relevant to disease. Leadership skills were demonstrated as the Academic Chair for Alpha Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc., where Emily oversaw academic performance for over 30 members.
