Samuel Charade

Samuel Charade has a diverse work experience history. Samuel currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Mercantile since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Axper from 2018 to 2022, initially as a Software Engineer and later as a Software Developer Intern. At Axper, they led a team through a software project, achieving a 10x performance increase and reducing costs and complexity. Samuel also retro-engineered a large-scale software, managed risk, and modernized development tools.

Before their time at Axper, Samuel served as a Laboratory Auxiliary at École de technologie supérieure from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they had internships at Axper as a Programming Intern in 2016 and at ProgressionLIVE as a Programmer (Intern) in the same year. At ProgressionLIVE, Samuel contributed to the research and development of a mobile payment platform, certified the payment process, and improved the stability of the Android mobile application.

Furthermore, Samuel played the role of a Research Assistant at Douglas Mental Health University Institute in 2013. Overall, Samuel has demonstrated proficiency in software development, project management, research, and team leadership throughout their work experience.

Samuel Charade has a diverse education history. Samuel obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from École de technologie supérieure, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Cell Biology and Anatomy at McGill University, where they studied between 2011 and 2014. Before their university education, Samuel Charade earned their DEC from Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu between 2009 and 2011, with a field of study in Science Nature.

In addition to their academic achievements, Samuel Charade obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in September 2019.
