Zachary Hanson

Zachary Hanson is an experienced Electro Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team since June 2022. Prior roles include Mechanical Design Engineer at Expleo Group, Junior Systems Engineer at Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology, and EDSE Design Engineer at YAZAKI EUROPE LIMITED, where responsibilities included 3D and 2D design on AJ21-P4 engines. Zachary also worked as an EDS Engineer at both McLaren Automotive Ltd and Leoni Wiring Systems, focusing on early phase development and harness drawing ownership, respectively. Zachary began a career in engineering through work experience at Sorby UK LTD after earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Automotive Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University from 2012 to 2015.
