Amber Murphy

Amber Murphy currently serves as a Senior Investment Strategist at Mercer Advisors, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, Amber was the Vice President and Head of Alternative Investments at Goldman Sachs from February 2021 to July 2025. Amber's career also includes multiple positions at Charles Schwab, including Senior Product Manager for Structured Products & Alternative Investments, Senior Fixed Income Trader, and in Securities Lending from September 2007 to January 2021. Before joining Charles Schwab, Amber worked at First National Bank as a Portfolio Manager from March 2002 to September 2007. Educationally, Amber holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Finance from Colorado State University (2001-2003) and a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences and Human Anatomy from the same university (1995-1999).
