Global Benefits Management Marketing Manager at Mercer

Abigail Perkin is the Global Benefits Management Marketing Manager at Mercer, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to this, they were the Marketing Manager at Mercer Limited from October 2006 to August 2020, where they were responsible for managing the marketing strategy and implementation for the Mercer Marsh Benefits business in the UK.

Perkin has also held the role of Knowledge Manager at Mercer Limited from October 2006 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for managing the knowledge management function for the UK business, including developing and implementing knowledge management strategies, processes and tools.

Perkin has a wealth of experience in marketing and communications, having developed and managed the execution of marketing plans across B2B and B2C audiences, created integrated multi-channel campaigns, and managed relationships with creative, communications, telemarketing agencies, providers and partners. Abigail is also an experienced copywriter and has developed marketing collateral and editorial content, as well as identifying and agreeing target lists and executing mailings.

Perkin is a skilled project manager and has been responsible for managing Britain’s Healthiest Workplace, one of the UK’s largest employee health and wellbeing studies. In addition, they have also tracked the effectiveness of marketing activities and programmes, and has ownership of UK budgets and first line management of marketing spend.

Abigail Perkin completed a degree in Management Studies from the University of Leeds. Abigail then went on to complete a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing from Leeds Beckett University.

Abigail Perkin reports to Ged Quinn, Chief Marketing Officer. They are on a team with Zelia Lim - Global Product Marketing, Rick van Emmerik - Senior Marketing Manager, and Carey Foran Hoch - Partner, Head of Marketing for the US.
