Barbara Rosen Jacobson

Barbara Rosen Jacobson has extensive experience in advocacy and coordination within climate resilience and humanitarian contexts. Currently serving as an NGO representative for UNFCCC climate negotiations with Internationale Klimaatcoalitie since May 2024, Barbara also holds the position of Senior Advocacy Advisor at both Mercy Corps and Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance, roles held since May 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Country Coordinator for Uganda and Niger at IMPACT Initiatives, along with various roles focused on research and project management at DiploFoundation, among others. Barbara holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Amsterdam University College, complemented by an exchange experience in Politics and International Relations at the Ecole de Gouvernance et d'Economie de Rabat.
