Albin Quiko

Albin Quiko is a seasoned anesthesiologist and academic leader, currently serving as the Physician Operational Leader (Chairperson) of the Anesthesia Department at Mercy since September 2020. With extensive experience in clinical and educational roles, Albin oversees daily operations for a high-volume anesthesia department, managing over 20 physicians and 70 CRNAs/AAs. In addition to clinical responsibilities, Albin is involved in academia as an Associate Professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and continues to mentor anesthesia students. Albin’s previous roles include Medical Director of Anesthesia Technologists at Naval Medical Center San Diego, where management of an 18-room operating suite and supervision of anesthesia technologists were key responsibilities. Albin holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Uniformed Services University and has completed an anesthesiology residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
