Tanisha Nalavadi is a recent college graduate who has already made a significant impact in the tech industry. Tanisha began their career as an intern at Tableau Software, where they developed a command line tool that automates the generation and hosting of Tableau dashboard extensions. This tool reduced extension creation time from 2 hours to 4 commands.

After their internship, Tanisha became the co-creator and leader of Duke Technology Scholars, a program that provides personal and professional development opportunities for 79 underclassmen women in technology. In this role, Tanisha is responsible for spearheading the creation and execution of the program.

In addition to their work with Duke Technology Scholars, Tanisha also serves as the co-director of recruitment for Duke Student Government and as a member of the COVID Student Advisory Board.
