Dmitry Khorev

Dmitry Khorev has been working in the software engineering industry since 2006. Dmitry started their career as a QA Engineer in the GameDev industry and was later promoted to Data Engineer. In 2008, they had a chance to work as a Project Manager in GameDev for a small flash game and dating website. From 2009 to 2016, they were the co-owner of two e-commerce shops, where they were responsible for website development. In 2017, they joined JSC AEROFLOT as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the Pilot training and examination system. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as Lead Software Engineer at RiseX Corporation, developing back-end and front-end applications to allow peer-to-peer cryptocurrency exchange. During this time, they also worked as Senior Software Engineer at AdPlexity, developing a Shopify upsell plugin that helps shop owners increase average checkout value. Since 2020, they have been working as Senior Software Engineer at Mero, developing a sensor & analytics platform for smart cleaning.

Dmitry Khorev obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) between 2011 and 2016. In 2021, they earned the JSNAD: OpenJS Node.js Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation. In 2022, they earned the JSNSD: OpenJS Node.js Services Developer certification from The Linux Foundation.
