Michael Bannon is the current Chief Financial Officer at MessageBird. Michael was previously the CFO at Improbable from March 2017 to May 2019. At Improbable, they were responsible for building out the Finance and Legal functions, helped scale the company from almost 200 to 400 employees, raised $502 million from SoftBank in Series B funding and $50+ million in a strategic investment from NetEase, and expanded the company's presence globally. Prior to their role at Improbable, Michael Bannon worked as an investor at TPG Global from August 2005 to March 2017, where they invested over $2 billion of equity capital in companies across consumer, healthcare, real estate, and financial services. Before TPG Global, Michael Bannon worked as an analyst at Morgan Stanley from August 2003 to July 2005.

Michael Bannon studied business at both Stanford University and Duke University. Michael received their MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
