Roger Barnette

Roger Barnette is currently the CEO of MessageGears. Roger has previous experience as the President of IgnitionOne and Biltmore Communications, Inc.

Barnette became the President of IgnitionOne in January 2004 and oversaw the company’s growth and technology strategy. When they left IgnitionOne in October 2016, the company had over $100M in revenue and 450 employees in 10 countries. IgnitionOne was driving over $30B in annual revenue for leading brands and was one of the world’s largest media platforms.

Prior to their experience with IgnitionOne, Barnette was the President of Biltmore Communications, Inc. from January 2002 to December 2003. As President, they led strategy and growth for the Atlanta-based cable television and high-speed internet provider. Under Roger's leadership, Biltmore grew subscribers and revenue by over 50% and made the strategic acquisition of Open Point Networks. Biltmore Communications was acquired by DirecTV in 2003.

Barnette began their career as the CEO of eTour in January 1998 and held that position until December 2001.

Roger Barnette has an MBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
