Nikolay Skarbnik

Nikolay Skarbnik is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer at Meta since May 2025 and a Principal Data Scientist at Walmart Global Tech since June 2021, contributing to the Intelligent Retail Lab's development of advanced systems for analytics, automation, supply chain optimization, and customer experience. Previously, Nikolay served as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Vimaan Robotics, where achievements included the successful implementation of computer vision products for the supply chain, and as a Senior Computer Vision Algorithms Developer at Smart Shooter, focusing on object tracking and detection for aerial applications. Early career experience includes working as an Algorithms Engineer at Olympus, specializing in image and video processing. Nikolay holds both an M.Sc and B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
