Sandhya Devanathan started their career with National Library Board in Singapore. In 2016, they joined Facebook as the Country Managing Director - Singapore; Business Head - Vietnam. Dan Neary is currently the VP, APAC at Meta. Dan has over 20 years of experience in regional operations, marketing channels, and partnerships across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas. 

Dan started their career at [Kellogg Company](/org/kellogg-company) where they spent 9 years as the General Manager of Greater China. Dan then moved to McRand International as a Managing Partner before joining Vendio Services, Inc. as the Chief Operating Officer. Vendio Services was acquired by [Alibaba](/org/alibaba) during their tenure.

In February 2002, Dan joined [eBay](/org/ebay) as the Vice President, Emerging Markets. Dan was responsible for managing [eBay](/org/ebay)'s businesses in Southeast Asia, India, and expansion markets. In December 2008, they were promoted to Vice President and GM of Global Market Development at Skype and was responsible for Skype's Regional operations including local marketing channels and partnerships across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas. Santosh Janardhan is the head of infrastructure at Meta, where he supports the teams responsible for developing and operating the hardware, network, software and data centers on which all Meta services run around the globe. Santosh has been at the company since 2009. He previously established and ran production engineering and other infrastructure software engineering teams responsible for powering Meta services.

Prior to Meta, Santosh led database and storage teams at YouTube, Google and PayPal. Santosh holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Sardar Patel University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

 Prior to joining Moody’s, she was the Chief Operating Officer and a senior consultant at The Future Work Institute, a global diversity and inclusion consulting firm. Sandra has over fifteen years of diversity and human resources-related experience. Sandra started her career at J P Morgan Chase as a manager in Global Trade Operations. Sandra transitioned to Human Resources and held a variety of leadership positions. While there, she was a key architect of the firm’s diversity agenda and ensured that diversity was linked to all HR processes. She previously served as the company’s VP of US Public Policy, where she led federal and state public policy efforts. Prior to joining Meta, Erin was a partner and co-chair of Covington & Burling’s global data protection practice, where she represented technology and media companies on privacy and consumer protection matters.

Ravish Mehra is a Director of Audio Research for RL at Meta. Prior to this, they worked as a research assistant at the [University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill](/org/university-of-north-carolina-at-chapel-hill), where they worked on physically-based sound propagation, efficient HRTF computation, and massively scalable numerical solvers. Ravish also worked as a research scholar at The University of British Columbia, where they worked on shape abstraction for man-made shapes. In addition, Ravish has interned at Microsoft Research three times, working on various research projects relating to audio and sound propagation.

Rafa Carmago is the current VP of Hardware at RL, a division of Meta. Rafa has held this position since August 2016. Prior to that, they were the Head of Product Engineering at ATAP, a division of Google. Rafa was with Google from March 2015 to August 2016. Before that, they were the Director of Software at Amazon Lab126 from September 2013 to February 2015.

Before their time at Amazon, Carmine served as the Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain at BlackBerry from July 2008 to August 2013. In this role, they managed the global supply chain planning, supply chain IT, order fulfillment, manufacturing & test engineering, new product introduction, and global outsourced manufacturing for the BlackBerry product portfolio worldwide. 

Throughout their career, Carmine has displayed a focus on achieving best-in-class quality, delivery, and cost performance. They have also demonstrated an ability to manage exponential growth in worldwide demand and production while balancing product design complexities, product logistics, and custom geography-specific requirements.

Eleanor Thibeaux is the Sound Design Manager at Meta. Eleanor has over three years of experience in audio production, leading Facebook's Immersive Audio group dedicated to audio development for augmented, virtual, and mixed reality experiences.

Eleanor has a proven track record in managing end-to-end audio production, including asset development pipelines, coordination of technical implementation, and cross-discipline communication management. Eleanor is also an expert in audio design for production and development hardware and software platforms.

Under Eleanor's leadership, the AR audio design team at Facebook was established through the development of process and pipeline, cross-functional team communication, and defined role responsibilities in an evolving technology space. Eleanor actively built and led a production team working in AR, VR, and 360 spatial audio design, creating common through-lines for task management, workflows, and production language.

Eleanor is a highly skilled manager of people and resources, with a deep understanding of the audio production process. Eleanor is a creative problem solver with a passion for delivering high quality audio experiences.

Beteille has also worked with Google and YouTube in various capacities from December 2011 to October 2016, including Product Manager for Content ID, Audio Library & YouTube Music, and Sr. Product Lead for Content ID, Audio Library & YouTube Music. In their previous roles, Beteille oversaw licensing and royalty administration functions and technologies as the Chief Operating Officer & Sr. VP of Technology at RightsFlow (acquired by Google) from January 2011 to December 2011, and as the Sr. Director, Strategic Technology at The Harry Fox Agency from March 2009 to December 2011. Born in Denmark, Michael has always had a passion for music and audio technology. After completing their Masters in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, they started their career at [Momentum Data Systems](/org/momentum-data-systems) in 1999 as a HW Architect. Michael then moved to Apple Computer, Inc. in 2004 to become their Technology & Product Architect. Just two years later, they left to start their own company, AudioWatt. 

In 2010, they then founded M17, Inc. with the goal of making a dent in the universe. After four successful years there, they joined LitePoint in 2014 as their VP Technology and Fellow. It was during their time at LitePoint that they helped develop a revolutionary new way to test audio transducers for Rub & Buzz using a patented method. Michael left LitePoint in 2015 to join Meta | Reality Labs as their Director of Audio Technology where they are currently employed.

Perry Bashkoff has been working in the music industry for over 20 years. Perry started out as a product line specialist at Warner Bros. Publications before moving to [Warner Music Group](/org/warner-music-group), where they eventually became the head of music label partnerships. In January 2018, they joined Facebook as the head of music label partnerships, and they remained in that position until October 2019. Perry is currently the director of music partnerships at Instagram.

Sue Young is the current Product Group Lead for AR Glasses at Meta. Prior to their current position, they served as Director of Product Management at Facebook from June 2012 to January 2020. During their time at Facebook, they led the team responsible for driving the company's efforts across their ecosystem, including Growth, Discovery, Business Tools, Ads, and Ticketing. Sue also worked on the Places and Marketplace products. Prior to their time at Facebook, Young interned at the company from May to August 2011.

Jason Taylor is the Vice President of Infrastructure at Meta, a venture-funded consumer website. Prior to their current position, they served as the Chief Technical Officer at ink2 from September 2006 to January 2009. At ink2, Jason was responsible for the company's technical strategy, tactics, and operations. Jason successfully launched new integrations with Hallmark, [American Greetings](/org/american-greetings-corporation-llc), and Papyrus. Within six months, they had upgraded the engineering team and modernized the technology. This resulted in a banner holiday season with a 50% year-over-year increase in card volume, 25 new products, and a sustained peak of 240,000 printed cards shipped per day. Jason also relaunched CardStore.com as a web 2.0 site with a new AJAX card personalization and print rendering engine.

Mark Rabkin is the current VP of Oculus at Meta. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Google from March 2004 to October 2007. While at Google, they worked on automatic systems for traffic load-balancing and failover for dozens of global datacenters and all Google services. Mark also made improvements to the Google-wide RPC framework. some of their other notable projects include Google Movies (http://google.com/movies).

Before joining Google, Mark Rabkin was a Senior Software Engineer at Intel from January 2000 to December 2004. There they worked on software for circuit design, including automatic routing via various graph algorithms, RCL extraction algorithms, and multi-GB datasets. Mark also created UI and graphics for circuit-editing tools.

Steve Satterfield is the VP and Associate General Counsel for Privacy at Meta. Steve was previously an associate at [Covington & Burling LLP](/org/covington-burling-llp), where they were a member of the Global Privacy & Data Security practice group. There, they defended leading online service providers in lawsuits alleging violations of privacy and consumer-protection laws, and advised clients on complying with privacy, data security, advertising and other consumer-protection laws and self-regulatory regimes. Steve also draft and negotiated agreements for a variety of consumer-facing and business-to-business online services, advised clients on responding to data security incidents, and assisted clients with legislative and policy initiatives on privacy and data security. Prior to that, they were a law clerk for The Hon. William D. Quarles, Jr., United States District Judge for the District of Maryland, where they assisted the judge in drafting opinions and orders for a variety of civil and criminal matters, and in managing eight jury trials.

Javier Maestro is a Production Engineer at Meta. Javier previously worked as a Backend Engineer at Tuenti Technologies S.L., where they were responsible for the refactoring and rewriting of the 'blog' and 'image' functionalities, as well as the backend and API for Tuenti monetary transactions and for social games and applications platform (Tuenti Juegos).

Javier has a wealth of experience working with large amounts of data, both in terms of storage and network traffic. Javier is an expert in designing and developing backend systems that are able to handle huge quantities of data efficiently.

Loredana Crisan is the head of Messenger at Meta. In this role, Loredana leads her team in developing innovative experiences for Messenger’s more than one billion users and pushing the boundaries in modern-day communication. Previously, Loredana was the VP of Meta’s messaging experiences, leading the strategy and launch of the new Messenger experience on Instagram, including cross-app communication, and the introduction of new expression and safety features in Messenger’s end-to-end encrypted surfaces. She also led Messenger's design, brand and research teams who were responsible for Messenger’s redesign and rebranding in 2018 and 2020. Prior to Messenger, Loredana led brand and mobile design at Indiegogo where she spearheaded the release of Indiegogo's native apps as well as the launch of its charitable fundraising site, Generosity. As one of the company’s first employees, Naomi has worked on almost every major initiative in its history, including most recently the COVID-19 Information Center and the Voting Information Center. She was a founding member and leader of the growth team that helped the Facebook app grow from 1 million people when she joined 16 years ago to over 3 billion today.

Rebekah Punak is a director and associate general counsel at Meta. Rebekah was previously vice president of legal and policy at [Instacart](/org/instacart) from April 2019 to February 2020. Rebekah served as deputy general counsel at [Instacart](/org/instacart) from April 2017 to March 2019, and as associate general counsel from May 2016 to March 2017. Roy joined Meta from the law firm of [Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis LLP](/org/harris-wiltshire-grannis), where he was a partner specializing in criminal defense and civil rights law. He offers over 25 years of experience working as both a civil rights lawyer and advocate, having begun his career as an honors trial attorney with the Criminal Section of the Civil Rights Division of the US [Department of Justice](/org/u-s-department-of-justice). He spent many years in the federal government in several prominent roles, including as a Senior Assistant US Attorney in the Civil Rights Unit of the DC US Attorney’s Office and as a Deputy Assistant Attorney General (DAAG) in the [Department of Justice](/org/u-s-department-of-justice)’s Civil Rights Division from 2010 to 2014.

From 2014 to 2017, Roy worked on the White House Domestic Policy Council as Deputy Assistant to the President for the Office of Urban Affairs, Justice and Opportunity. Miranda Kalinowski is the current Global Head of Recruitment at Meta. Miranda has held this position since October 2021. Janelle began their career at IBM Business Consulting Services in 1998 as a consultant. He co-founded [Naughty Dog](/org/naughty-dog) in 1984, released his first game professionally in 1985, and created the "Crash Bandicoot" and "Jak and Daxter" video game series. In 2001 he sold [Naughty Dog](/org/naughty-dog) to Sony Computer Entertainment America and continued to lead the company until late 2004.

In 2006 he formed Flektor, Inc., an online mash-up tool that Launched in April of 2007. The tool quickly passed 1 million users, and less than a month later Flektor was acquired by Fox Interactive Media and the technology was folded into MySpace.

In May of 2012, backed by an investment bank, he joined the then public company THQ as President. 

He joined [Oculus](/org/oculus-inc) as Head of Studios in 2014 and led the team that brought the first wave of VR content to the [Oculus](/org/oculus-inc) PC and Mobile platforms. Promoted to VP Content, he oversaw well more than $500m in Content investment, the [Oculus](/org/oculus-inc) store, developer relations, the publishing organizations, as well as acting as one of a few public faces of [Oculus](/org/oculus-inc). When Facebook merged the AR/VR organizations, his role expanded to include AR Content, as well as Portal's needs. And in 2018 he also managed Facebook's AR/VR Partnerships group including hardware and software.

In 2019 he was promoted to an expanded role as "VP: Special Gaming Initiatives" working across the entire business to focus Facebook's gaming Future. This led to his latest role in October of 2020, "VP of Play," with a mission to expand the Gaming offering on the Facebook family of Apps which serves 380 million gamers a month. On October 26th, 2020 they launched Cloud Gaming on Facebook, an expansion of its game offering.

Before joining Meta Nick Clegg was a Member of Parliament in the UK. He served as Deputy Prime Minister in the UK’s Coalition Government from 2010-2015. He was Leader of the [Liberal Democrats](/org/the-liberal-democrats-limited) from 2007-2015 and was the Member of Parliament for Sheffield Hallam from 2005-2017.

Prior to his entry into British politics, Nick Clegg served as a Member of the European Parliament (1999-2004) on trade and industry affairs and as an international trade negotiator in the European Commission dealing with the accession of China and Russia into the World Trade Organisation.
