Sean’s experience includes a solid view of the biotechnology and medical technology industries, bringing relevant perspective to their audience and supporting how clients can maximize Metabolon’s suite of offerings to achieve their research, development, and commercial goals. Sean has driven success in his prior roles, emphasizing analytics and data-driven marketing and product efforts for strong commercial results. In his previous role as Vice President of Global Marketing at Sophia Genetics, he led the company’s expansion of commercial and digital marketing, branding, and public relations. He was also heavily involved with the company’s initial public offering.

Sean served in previous leadership roles at Danaher and Cisco Systems. Sean earned his MBA in International Marketing from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. He also holds an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Political Science and Asian Studies from Brigham Young University.
