Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently with SMART Technologies since July 2010, contributing to the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior roles include Firmware Engineer at SMART Technologies, where Chris developed firmware and diagnostic tools, Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation focusing on electronics design for educational devices, and Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, where Chris worked on control systems for forestry industry harvesters. Chris began the academic career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting student labs and assessments. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
